Frequently asked questions.

What can I expect in the first session?

Clients often feel nervous before starting therapy, and that’s completely normal! Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, explore what’s bringing you in, hear your story, and talk about what you’re hoping to work on. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. My role isn’t to “fix” you, but to support you in building the skills and confidence to live the life you want, at a pace that feels right for you.

How do I know if therapy is right for me and where to start?

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about your next steps, therapy can help. You don’t need to be at a breaking point to benefit from talking with someone who’s trained to support you. You can reach out via the contact form or email me directly. I offer a free consultation call to see if we’re a good fit and answer any questions you may have.

Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?

I currently offer virtual sessions only to make therapy more accessible and convenient.

What if I’m not sure what I need help with?

That’s okay! You don’t need to have it all figured out. Sometimes the most important work starts with simply saying, “I don’t feel like myself.” Therapy is a space to explore, understand, and grow no matter where you’re starting from.

Do you accept insurance or offer a sliding scale?

Yes, I’m in network with several insurance providers and offer a sliding scale for those paying out of pocket. You can visit the Services section for full details.
